The heart of my business is capturing you at this exact moment in time. All of the wonderful, messy, sweet, and silly parts of parenthood and family.

Now, what should we wear?

1. Pick a simple color palatte. Think classic neutrals like dusty blue, blush, cream, and sage. Avoid stripes and small busy patterns.

2. Start with the ladies clothing first (mom, sisters, grandma) and build from there. It’s easier to bring fun pieces in when the more complicated outfits are already chosen!

3. Dont worry about trends! Choose clothing that you love and feel confident in and you get will have images to treasure.

4. Let your kids have a little say in their clothing choices. Letting them feel proud of their outfit is always so fun!

5. Make sure to arrive with empty pockets, full hearts, and shoes that don’t hurt your feet.

Where should we take our photos?

Things to consider when planning your session: How Mobile is everyone? How far would you like to drive? What are some of your favorite places?

How to have a great family session

1. Wear clothes you love and feel comfortable in.

2. Don’t be too matchy! It’s okay to coordinate, but try to have everyone’s style shine through. 

3. Make sure everyone has snacks before your session start time. There’s nothing like hungry kids (or parents) to spoil the mood.

4. Use this as an opportunity to play and connect as a family. Focus less on smiling at the camera and more at laughing with each other.

5. Remember that your kids are just that, kids! Having zero expectations can help you relax.

What’s the best timing?

Honestly, a lot of photographers like to photograph in the last hour before sunset. That golden hour really is magical.

But as you can tell from my work I love bright, clean light!

That means we can have a little more room to play. Two hours before sunset or one hour after sunrise are the ideal starting times.

When will we Receive our images?

Your hand retouched images will be delivered in an online gallery within 30 days. From there you will get to choose your favorite images to download and have the opportunity to order printed products. Each family gets a preview of their session within 24 hours!
